Fed Up Student Refuses To Remove Her Cap Unless Muslim Women Remove Their Headscarves

A STUDENT asked not to wear her cap in Bromley College says she won’t agree unless Muslim women remove their headdresses as well.

Caroline Powell, of Sevenoaks Way, Orpington, is attending Greenwich University, which uses facilities in Bromley College, Rookery Lane.
While inside the Bromley College buildings, the 39-year-old has been told repeatedly to remove her cap, but believes that, while Muslim women are allowed to wear headdresses, this represents “double standards”.

The 39-year-old told News Shopper: “It started in September last year when I got stopped at the door by a woman and she said ‘you need to take your cap off’. “It is a small black leather cap but it’s part of my identity. She said ‘you need to take it off, they are the rules’. “A Muslim woman walked in behind me and I asked if she was going to ask her to take off her headdress. ..”

She shouldn’t have to, it’s her right. If it’s okay for muslims it’s okay for everyone, why should they have special rights. I am tired of our nation bending over backwards for this group of people that are trying to take over our country. I applaud this woman.

She shouldn’t have to remove her hat if the Muslim women are allowed to do it.

People are getting tired of this hogwash. Everyone should follow her lead and demand the double standards be set aside. But, look at Congress; the epitome of double standards.

So proud for this CHRISTIAN woman! I see nothing religious about covering a woman’s hair. I see it more of the man’s rule to avoid his lusting behavior that would be set into motion if he saw the muslim woman’s hair. Ridiculous if you ask most Christian Americans. Horrendous to think muslim women with their beautiful hair must adhere to the man’s sexual demand. It sounds more like a CULT rule than a religious rule.

Islam is infiltrating our culture by disguising their agenda as a “religion: and thus attempting to obtain special consideration as provided under religious freedom concepts. What has happened is a loss of the fundamental fact tat “religious freedom” comes only after there is personal freedom. Denying individual personal freedom does not enhance religious freedom. In te relevant instance, if there is a legitimate reason to require headgear to be removed (although I can not imagine any legitimate reason), then it is absolutely legitimate to require that Islamic headgear be removed also. Ones religion would not eradicate the legitimate reason for the remval of headgear. In fact, it would eradicate the “legitimacy” entirely!
