Twice failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton viciously attacked President Donald Trump on Wednesday, saying he committed a “serious crime against the American people.”
In an op-ed for The Washington Post, Clinton claimed that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report “definitively” stated that the 2016 election was corrupted and that Trump colluded with Russia to win.
Crooked Hillary also fantasized ak bout the president being impeached, writing in her op-ed a 4-point plan on how to “hold President Trump accountable for obstructing justice and possibly breaking the law.”
Clinton said that “what our country needs now is clear-eyed patriotism, not reflexive partisanship. Whether they like it or not, Republicans in Congress share the constitutional responsibility to protect the country.”
“But it’s a road map” Hillary said of Mueller’s report, adding, “It’s up to members of both parties to see where that road map leads — to the eventual filing of articles of impeachment, or not.”
Clinton urged Congress not to “rush to judgement” like they did with impeaching her husband, former President Bill Clinton, but then hypocritically called for “Congress to hold substantive hearings that build on the Mueller report and fill in its gaps.”
The former secretary of state claimed that if Trump isn’t held accountable, he will “likely redouble his efforts to advance Putin’s agenda” and use assistance from Russia to win the 2020 election.
She concluded her op-ed by invoking the Founding Fathers and claiming they wrote the Constitution to stop people like Trump.
“Our founders envisioned the danger we face today and designed a system to meet it. Now it’s up to us to prove the wisdom of our Constitution, the resilience of our democracy and the strength of our nation,” she wrote.
While speaking at the TIME Magazine event on Tuesday, Clinton hallucinated about “Russians” stealing the election from her and stunned many with her opinion on removing Trump from office.
Aside from claiming Russia “stole” the election from her in 2016, Clinton was asked if she would support Democrats moving forward with impeachment.
Surprising to many, Clinton said she doesn’t think Democrats should push impeachment now, but implied they should keep investigating Trump to find more dirt on him.
“I’m really of the mind that the Mueller report is part of the beginning…because there’s still so much more that we should know and that we should act upon… And we’re a long way from knowing because we need to get the full report — the unredacted version,” she said.
She then went on to say that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s final report is a “road map” to impeachment down the road.
